More than 140 police officers participated Thursday evening in a major operation targeting the Hells Angels, in Montérégie.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, it was a drug search. The police arrived on the scene Thursday evening and continued their work throughout the night from Thursday to Friday.
This search took place following two other operations which took place on 1er May in Chambly and Marieville, as well as May 22 in Beloeil, McMasterville, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville and Saint-Basile-le-Grand.
The provincial police force specified that the operation was carried out by the Montérégie division of the Joint Regional Squad.
The results of the operation had not yet been made public early Friday morning.
