A “particularly active” drug trafficker in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Côte-Saint-Luc sectors has just been arrested by the Montreal police. Three firearms were seized from his apartment, along with a “significant” amount of cash and narcotics.

Tevin Reid, 29, was indeed pinned by Montreal investigators from the West Section of organized crime at the corner of Cordner and Senkus streets, in the borough of LaSalle. His arrest came at the end of a large police operation in which the Tactical Intervention Group of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) also participated.
The operation took place last Wednesday, around 12:35 p.m., but was not made public until Friday.
A search of Reid’s apartment “leaved three 9mm pistols, $76,000 in cash and nearly $50,000 in miscellaneous narcotics: cocaine, crack, heroin, cannabis and crystal methamphetamine (crystal). meth),” the SPVM said in a brief statement.
The accused appeared Thursday at the Montreal courthouse. He will face “several charges” related to possession of firearms and drug trafficking, authorities said.
