Several people inspired by the riots in France gathered in downtown Montreal on Sunday evening. The only goal seemed to be to cause disorder, according to messages conveyed and shared on social networks.

Many SPVM police officers were present to avoid overflows.
According to the latest information, a 16-year-old was arrested for threatening a police officer.
Two statements of offense were also distributed for having participated in a fight on public property.
For the moment, the SPVM does not report any wrongdoing or damage.
