The 49th edition of the Gala Sports Québec took place at the Bonsecours Market in Montreal, when the eleven prestigious Maurice awards were presented. During the cocktail preceding the Gala Sports Québec, the Institut national du sport du Québec paid tribute to the athletes receiving scholarships from the Équipe Québec program who were retiring. The athletes received a t-shirt in their name with the year of their retirement to mark this important moment.

The leaders of Baseball Québec are very proud of the involvement of their members, because the organization won the Maurice Sports Federation of the Year award.
