The silence. This is the choice made by Pierre Aubert presented this Monday morning to the investigating judge in charge of the Nyons murder case. The 33-year-old chose to remain silent. As he had denied in police custody his involvement in the death of his father on Thursday morning and in the arson that followed. In view of the elements of the investigation, the investigating judge indicted him for intentional homicide on the ascendant and destruction by means dangerous to others. Before the judge of freedoms and detention, he asked for a delay to prepare his defense. He was sent to prison until Thursday, the day when the debate on his pre-trial detention will be held.

Speech of persecution

The murder is said to be linked to a family dispute. During his police custody, the 30-year-old took refuge “in a sometimes strange discourse of persecution” indicates the public prosecutor who underlines that the suspect has “demonstrated method and concealment in the course of his escape”.
