On May 10, 2021, the infamous serial killer and pedophile Michel Fourniret died at the age of 79. Arrested in 2003, the one who is nicknamed “the ogre of the Ardennes” had confessed to a dozen rapes and murders of young women including that of little Estelle Mouzin after years of research and remains today suspected of being at the origin of many other assassinations that occurred between the beginning of the 1970s and the beginning of the 2000s.
When he died two years ago while serving a life sentence, Selim, the son he had with his partner and sordid accomplice, Monique Olivier, reacted and spoke on the set of “Do not touch My TV”. “I knew he was hospitalized in April, but I had no news. I was not interested in it. I did not expect his death, because I did not think about it! ” he confessed before adding: “He’s dead, good riddance. It will cost less for the taxpayer”.
Selim Fourniret arrested for attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl
Desiring to no longer be associated with his father whom he despised, Selim Fourniret has thus rebuilt his life under a whole new identity. But this Sunday, July 2, 2023, it is his turn to make the headlines because of a disturbing accusation. Le Parisien indeed reveals that the 35-year-old was taken into custody in Nice for “attempted rape”. A 16-year-old girl accuses Selim Fourniret of having attempted to assault him in an elevator. Not achieving his goals, the accused would then have fled before being arrested by public security officers. While waiting to be heard by the police, it was announced that a search was carried out at his home.
As a reminder, Selim Fourniret, who had been entrusted to an uncle when his parents were arrested for their crimes, had already been used as bait by Michel Fourniret and Monique Olivier when they were looking for new victims.
