“You never talk to me about football”, PSG coach Christophe Galtier recently annoyed at a press conference after questions about non-sporting matters at the club. The revelation by the newspaper The Team the opening of an investigation targeting his son, suspected of “illegal exercise” of the activity of sports agent, will not redirect attention to the lawn. Confirmed on Sunday, October 16 to AFP by the Nice prosecutor’s office, this investigation entrusted to the judicial police targets John Valovic-Galtier as part of his work of “sports consultant” within the agency Score Agencies, which notably manages the interests of his father, according to the sports daily.

The profession of agent is regulated by article L222-7 of the Sports Code, which specifies that “the activity consisting in putting in contact, against remuneration, the parties interested in the conclusion of a contract (…) relating to the remunerated exercise of a sporting activity (…) can only be exercised by a natural person holding a sports agent license”remember The Team.

According to its website, Score Agencies, an agency based in Lyon and founded in 2000, specializes in services for professional footballers “with legal, financial support, etc.”. She counts coaches and players among her clients, including some from Olympique Lyonnais such as Alexandre Lacazette and Damien Da Silva, or the Nice striker Andy Delort. The latter had joined the Aiglons in the summer of 2021 after the arrival on the Nice bench of Galtier.

Among his “talent”, Score Agencies also highlights on its website Christophe Galtier, who, after coaching OGC Nice for a season, joined PSG this summer.
