The son of Henri Salvador, Jean-Marie Périer spreads his regrets vis-à-vis Françoise Hardy and compares her with his ex, Julie Andrieu

Faced with Jordan de Luxe, Jean-Marie Périer spoke of his biological father, singer Henri Salvador, but also his ex-girlfriends. There was Julie Andrieu with whom he lived for several years. “I live at her place with her boyfriend”he conceded in At Jordan’s.

The 82-year-old man notably spoke of the one he considers his best friend: Françoise Hardy. But the two lived a love story for four years between 1963 where they met until 1967. The singer will finally abandon her first love for Jacques Dutronc, with whom she had a son, Thomas.

“It was more difficult to live with Françoise Hardy“, he admitted before expressing his regrets for not having taken more care of her. “I wanted to show her to everyone. I would have done better to take her hand but no man has matched Françoise”.

But today, health concerns are increasing for the icon of the sixties, victim since 2017 of cancer of the pharynx, undergoing heavy treatments and daily complications.

“Everyone knows she’s not doing well, she’s in trouble… But she has incredible courage”revealed Jean-Marie Périer, who saw her recently. “She fights and she continues to write every day. She is really brave”. The one who is known, among other things, for his collaboration with the magazine Hi buddies went on to say: “Even I don’t talk about the future anymore… No one can reassure her… She knows. You shouldn’t talk nonsense to her. But we don’t talk about that! Banalities never have been his thing.”

As a reminder, the interpreter of How to say goodbye to you celebrated its 78th birthday last January.
