The Socialists win a third substitute position in the Somme for the legislative elections. It is no longer Saïd Boudil, but Laure Vincent who will accompany Zahia Hamdane (Nupes) in the second constituency of the department. The Insoumis announced it this Saturday, May 14 on his Tweeter account.
Three socialists within the Nupes candidacies
Saïd Boudil is justified by the will “to broaden our dynamics by leaving room for a substitute from the Socialist Party. However, we must not lose sight of our common objectives, the general interest taking precedence over individualities.. ” The Insoumis recalls that the objective is “to have a majority in the National Assembly, Jean-Luc Mélenchon as Prime Minister.“
This grant allows the PS to be present in three of the five Nupes applications in the Somme. Romain Delamotte is in the background of the ecologist Elodie Heren in the 4th district. Valérie Kume will support the Insoumis Guillaume Ancelet in the 5th district. A rebalancing in response to the Socialist Party’s recent criticism of the lack of local representation of its members within the left alliance
