In 24 hours, 1,994 people were admitted to hospital, or 2,666 new hospitalizations per day on average over the last seven days.
Some 167 people died of Covid-19 in 24 hours, according to data published on Saturday by Public Health France. This brings the total death toll to at least 128,514 since the outbreak began.
