the sister of Véronique Sanson testifies on the state of health of the artist at Laurent Delahousse and upsets!

“From birth, I am very excessive, in absolutely everything, in the positive as in the negative, even in the middle, I am excessive then to tell you…”, this is how Véronique Sanson describes herself in the “story” dedicated to her this Sunday, March 5, 2023 by Laurent Delahousse on France 2. The 73-year-old singer returns to the stage after coming back from afar… from all the fights, one might even say. During his tour Hasta luego! (See you later in French) for which she will perform from March 22 to 24 at the Dôme de Paris, she confides freely in all the media. She has, moreover, always been transparent about her life, her choices, her loves, her addictions and her state of health… The former Madame Palmade – they were married in 1995 before separating in 2001 and then divorcing in 2004 –, for example, has never hidden having taken drugs, as she confided to our colleagues from Releaseon February 17, adding a caveat: “We overdid it a lot ’cause coke hurts my nose ” or on alcohol “even if (his) addiction did not take a critical turn until late, towards the end of the 1990s.” Remarks that had been made before the terrible road accident caused by the comedian, who was driving under the influence of cocaine and substitution medications.

“The illness has weakened me a lot”

In 2018, the 73-year-old singer announced that she had throat cancer. She had to undergo radiotherapy treatment. A trauma forever etched in her memory, as she pointed out on February 24 in the columns of the Parisian: “I told myself that I was going to live as if nothing had happened. But it was not fun every day, the disease weakened me a lot. I was convinced that I was going to recover. I I relied a lot on my guardian angel. I went with the flow and did exactly what the doctors recommended. You can’t fight cancer alone. I gave them my full trust.” But today, the interpreter of A few words of love, reassures about his state of health: “I’m doing well. But I’m crossing my fingers, because you never know. I smoke a lot. I am unable to stop.” Asked for8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Véronique Sanson’s big sister, Violaine, still cannot believe her trajectory. And testifies to the eternal resurrection of this artist registered in the Pantheon of French song:“Vero is a phoenix! Vero she escaped 10,000 possibilities of dying, of disappearing and, each time, she comes out of there… nickel! As if nothing had happened”.
