The opportunity for him to explain how this first opus had completely turned his life upside down. “Songs that are much loved, they are ennobled by people’s love. The fact of knowing that a little girl has listened to the record and that, charged with the emotions of the songs, has associated it with memories, it’s priceless, it’s magnificent” did he declare.
Despite the pride of this recognition, the companion of Mélanie Thierry has nevertheless recognized an overflow of solicitations. “I had a very big success which disturbed me a little, it was huge, I could no longer go out in a street”, he explains. “It wasn’t what I wanted, I didn’t look for it as a goal in life so I was a little overwhelmed.” he added. “There were people waiting for me downstairs to film me every day, there were people sleeping on my landing. We attract a certain number of weirdos when we are on this kind of scale“, relates this big fan of Barbara. He even reveals that fans attacked Mélanie Thierry, his wife who appeared in the clip of “Caravane”: “There were people who had assaulted my girl, it was really very complicated“.
Aware of the success of her husband, the actress also confided to our colleagues from Télérama that the success of the singer had also helped her. “I’ll be honest: I’m lucky to live with a husband who, financially, allows me not to work to work, and encourages me to decline projects that do not make me vibrate […] In time, I may be tracing the right drawing.” she admits honestly.
