Pascal Obispo had an announcement of the utmost importance to make to his subscribers. At the end of the weekend, the singer sent a message to his account instagram. Like many other personalities before, the interpreter of Fan has been the victim of one or more identity thieves. To prevent his community from being taken in, he wrote:
“I would like to tell you once again that I only have “ONE” INSTAGRAM account! The one from which I am writing to you with the BLUE label. The one and only valid one. The other accounts are FAKE. USURPERS who pretend to be ME in order to SCAVENGE and EXTORTE money from you, even cause dubious encounters!
Do not respond and report them as soon as possible. There is only one account and there will NEVER be more! Take care. Protect yourself !”, he warned. But this paragraph ended with good news. “Good end of the weekend I speak to you tomorrow we arrive at the end of the album”.
In the reactions, if the message was well received, many meant to be careful and block these fake malicious accounts. “It’s crazy all these accounts, I report at least 3 or 4 a day”, “We only do that to report fake accounts”“It’s true that we are invaded by these false malicious accounts all the time. Thank you Pascal for watching over some or some of us who could be abused”, “I systematically report. I do not support these usurpers, for you as for Thomas Dutronc”could we read.
