It is in an Instagram post published this Monday March 25, 2024 that singer Duffy reconnects with her fans. The publication, which currently has nearly 11,500 likes, is an inspirational video that talks about happiness. A theme that is close to her heart, given the difficult episodes she went through during her life.
As a reminder, in 2020, she revealed having been drugged, kidnapped, raped in the past: “Rape deprived me of my human rights, of the possibility of living a normal life in the face of fear. It has already stolen a third of my life”, she wrote in a long article published on her website. It was the trauma caused by this unfortunate experience that pushed her to take a break from her musical career.

In the video, a narrator can be heard saying: “One day you will see, that happiness has always been about discovery. The hope of listening to your heart and following it wherever it chooses to go.
