the singer challenges Claude Lelouch in “Télématin” and evokes their “impossible love”

Known for having been one of the biggest singing stars of the 60s, Jacques Dutronc not only displayed his talents on the FM airwaves but also on film sets. The father of Thomas Dutronc has indeed a great acting career to his credit. He notably shot under the direction of Claude Lelouch in “The Good and the Bad” in 1976 alongside Brigitte Fossey, Bruno Cremer and Jacques Villeret.

The famous director and the singer met briefly this Wednesday, December 28 in “Télématin” on France 2. Guest of Damien Thévenot, Claude Lelouch had the pleasant surprise of discovering a video message from his friend. “A very personal question, do you still love me?“, thus asked the former companion of Françoise Hardy, before adding: “me yes, but you? may it not be an impossible love!“. A beautiful statement to which the multi-award-winning screenwriter responded with a lot of humor: “To the madness, more and moreit’s like good wine, he’s one of those people who age really well, and I often think of him“.

Jacques Dutronc stops his tour with his son Thomas

Despite his 79 years, Jacques Dutronc has therefore lost none of his humor or his scenic talent. Unfortunately for his fans, the singer has decided not to return to concerts. On Wednesday December 21, his tour with his son Thomas ended at the Accor Arena. “It stops because my father prefers to stop now. It’s his kind of not to do too much, he prefers to be rare“said the son of Françoise Hardy on RTL. “I find that a little unfortunate. Either way, whatever he would have chosen, he wouldn’t have been happy, I know him.” he explained. Before continuing:The concerts, he adores, but it’s everything around that is a little bit complicated. He didn’t go home to Corsica for the whole tour, he stayed on the continent, it’s not easy. He is going to be 80 years old, he is worried about not holding up. I’m sure he’ll regret not continuing because we gave him a show with little onions“.
