The 7-year-old child discovered at the beginning of November, in Choisy-le-Roi (Val-de-Marne), with a plastic bag tied around his head, is dead, France Télévisions learned from the Créteil public prosecutor’s office, Saturday November 18 , confirming information from RTL and BFMTV. The child was found by local residents, “between two cars”, “head stuck in a plastic bag” and presenting “traces of beatings and strangulation”according to the prosecution.
The child’s babysitter, aged 29, was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention on Monday, November 6, for “attempted murder of a 15-year-old minor.” While in police custody, the man told the police that he had “hurts”. “In front of the police, the accused maintained his initial statements without further explaining his actions”added the prosecution, at the beginning of November.
The victim’s parents confirmed to investigators that they confided “regularly their child to the accused for three years, with complete confidence”. They called the emergency police on the evening of Friday November 3 to report the disappearance of the child.
