the Sernam car park closed, but to park better tomorrow

It is no longer possible to park, as of this Saturday morning, in the parking lot of the former Sernam hall, next to Thionville station. The municipality, associated with the State, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Grand Est Region, is financing the construction of a covered park and ride with 721 spaces. Work will really begin next month, for a delivery scheduled for the end of 2024.

Some free car parks not far from the station

In the meantime, the town of Thionville invites you to park in theone of the 18 car parks in more or less immediate proximity to the station. Some are free, including the Neubau car park (350 spaces). According to the town hall of Thionville, 2,000 parking spaces are available less than ten minutes from the station.
