the sensational revelations of Kelly Helard, drug addict and consumer in “Les Ch’tis”

Here is a statement that will not calm the rumors circulating around drugs and reality TV. Indeed, for several years, the candidates have been accused of taking narcotics during filming. If they have always denied the facts, Kelly Helard has just dropped a bomb that will undoubtedly add fuel to the fire. The candidate of Moms and famous was Sam Zirah’s guest to discuss the release of his new book and, at the same time, his addiction to drugs for many years.

The journalist wanted to read a passage from the book to ask his interlocutor what these lines evoked for him. Lines in which we learn in particular that she consumed “speed, a drug easy to find in Belgium. It’s like amphetamines, but made in clandestine laboratories. The effects are anorectic and psychoanaleptic. Everything I needed: no need to eat or sleep”. It is partly “thanks” to speed that Kelly Helard lost a lot of weight during her first shoots.

Drugged, even in the shows

But today, seeing how trivialized drugs have been, the young mother wanted to bang her fist on the table and do prevention. Without forgetting to send a small tackle to his ex-comrades of Ch’tis whom she accuses of having taken narcotics, several years after having met her. “I wanted to talk about it for prevention because I got out of it. It’s been 8 years since I’ve consumed at all. In Les Ch’tis, we weren’t much to consume”she explained at first before emptying her bag about some of her ex-comrades: “Those who rejected me because they were against it fell into it afterwards. It was taboo at the time! But then, when I see that some young people find it normal, I want to put a stop”.

But how to pass the drugs when she went on set? According to the words of the one who regrets one of her cosmetic surgery operations, it would not have been so complicated. “I hid my drugs in my compact to go to the airport and escape the search of the production”she reveals before specifying: “I had started before TV. It’s fairly common in Belgium and in the middle of the night. I was under the influence when I was filming. I had become addicted, it was morning, noon and evening. C had become dramatic!”.
