The thousands of pages of the famous killer’s trial have been digitized at the Yvelines archives center. Internet users can therefore now have access to all the trial documents, press clippings and private collections. Landru was nicknamed the blue beard Gambais (Yvelines). The serial killer cut into pieces and burned in a boiler seven of his eleven victims, mostly women. He will be arrested in Montmartre (Paris)by the Tiger Brigades.
