the Secretary of State for rurality facing the mayors on France Bleu Périgord

The national congress of rural mayors opens in Eymet in the Dordogne this Friday, September 30. For three days, the mayors of small towns in France will meet to discuss topical issues. This Friday morning between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., France Bleu Périgord, partner of the event, is organizing a debate with the Secretary of State in charge of rurality, Dominique Faure.

Health at the heart of the debates

The minister will face several mayors of rural municipalities: Michel Fournier, president of the Association of Rural Mayors of France and mayor of Voivres in the Vosges, Dominique Chappuis, vice president of the AMRF and mayor of Rosoy in the Yonne, Evelyne Roux, mayor of Savignac-les-Eglises in Dordogne and Thierry Boidé, mayor of Saint-Géraud-de-Corps in Dordogne. The debates will focus on particularly sensitive subjects in rural areas, public services, environmental protection, transport or even health and medical demography. The AMRF also publishes this Friday a survey on the number of general practitioners and specialists who continue to decline in the countryside.

The live broadcast from the Eymet cultural center this Friday between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. will be hosted by Marc Bertrand and Julien Pelé.
