During this holiday period, the 19/20 takes you to school for the time of a film. “The school is ours”, tasty comedy directed by alexander Castagnettitries to raise awareness.

Under emotion, the young actor and his director return to the filming location of the film The school is ours, made a year ago at the Henri-Bergson College (Paris). The story tells of a new math teacher who arrives at college. But very quickly, a strike upsets the life of the establishment and the young professor offers to ensure the permanence. “You do what you want. Read, draw, discuss, play games, play sports”she announces to the students.

The challenge is to see what teenagers will do with this freedom, with some nice surprises in store. “To learn well, it must be linked to a desire, a pleasure”believes Alexander Castagnetti, director. In the film, the students thus put themselves to the kitchen, to DIY, but that is without counting the other teachers who are resisting, including the principal played by Jean-Pierre Darroussin. “We are trying to raise awareness of the possibilities of calming things down a little bit on the desire for performance, competition”, says the actor. The film, optimistic and joyful, tries to share another point of view on the school.
