Opening the score from the second minute of play
The Villefranche footballers immediately put pressure on their Savoyard opponents by opening the scoring in the second minute of play, before scoring again in the 15th and 19th. At half-time, ES Tarentaise was trailing 3 goals to 0.
Villefranche drove the point home in the 58th minute, then at the very end of the game, with a second goal from attacking midfielder Rémi Sergioeven if the second half was more balanced than the first between the two teams.
There therefore remains more than three clubs from the Pays de Savoie in the running for the 8th round French Cup: Annecy, Rumilly and Chambéry.
