The SAQ’s second quarter net income was $ 337.7 million, up $ 26.7 million from last year, while revenues reached $ 928.1 million, or $ 67.1 million. more than during the same period in 2020.

SAQ’s net expenses climbed 4% from last year to $ 129.7 million, but the net expense ratio, which expresses these expenses as a percentage of revenue, fell to 14.0% , compared to 14.5% in the previous second quarter.

Sales of the network of branches and specialized centers of the SAQ advanced 9.8% to 859.1 million in the most recent quarter, while sales volumes reached 48 million liters, or 7.4% more than at the same time last year.

In addition, online sales increased 26.6% year on year to 21.4 million. They thus represented 3.0% of sales made to consumers.
