The Saint Sauveur bookstore in La Rochelle

Passionate about beautiful bookstores and the philosophy of independent trade, Virginie and Eric had both dreamed of one day creating or taking over a point of sale. Coming both from the world of paper (Publishing in card making) and the field of toys, they frequented for many years resellers as much in the medium of the press as in that of gifts, stationery or toys, both in France and abroad.

The desire to take over this institution that was the “Maison de la Presse” in La Rochelle led us both to leave our reassuring “jobs” as employees in the Paris region.

Convinced that we could develop this point of sale, supported by two outstanding employees already in place, we offered it a makeover while diversifying its activities (fantasy stationery, gifts, cards). Our engine lies in the desire to offer pleasure, contact while having fun. Our clientele, benevolent and loyal, makes us feel good about it.

You will find a large selection of magazines as well as books, for all tastes and all ages: literature, paperbacks, cookbooks, fine arts and art books, history, guides to travel, road maps and city plans…
