The rumor of a divorce between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry swells… the truth about this dark news!

“We were in a difficult environment, as people have seen, we all know how the British press can behave. And it was destroying my mental health. It was toxic. So I did what any husband or father would do, I said to myself that I had to take my family away from all this”. This is what Prince Harry confided to James Corden, during his participation in the Late Late Show, in February 2021.

Already divorced? Nope…

Unfortunately, if the husband of Meghan Markle has managed to get away from London and royal protocol, he has not managed to stop the malicious rumors. And this week, a new bombshell came out about his private life. His divorce from the former American actress was announced via a video posted on Facebook on June 16. The sequence was shared at high speed to quickly become viral.

In essence, it explained that Archie and Lilibet’s parents had signed divorce papers. Fortunately, the PolitiFact site, which verifies the information circulating on the Web, quickly denied it. The factchecker assured: “Allegations that Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have divorced are baseless. The video provides no credible evidence that any of this is actually true.“.

The initial information came from an interview with Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha, who explained to TMZ, without filters, in 2021: “I see their marriage ending in divorce unless they receive thorough counseling.”

Their commitment against fake news

Yet another example of what forced the Sussexes to step back from public life. Since then, Meghan Markle has won her lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday, last January. The tabloid had published excerpts from the letter she had sent to her father, Thomas, in 2018. For his part, Prince Harry joined an American think tank which fights against fake news, in March 2021, within the Aspen Institute. There is still work to be done in this direction.
