The Rolling Stones are working on (another) next album

The Rolling Stones are inspired by the times that are running. While their new album will be released on October 20, the legendary British group is already working on the next one.


This is what singer Mick Jagger, 80, said in an interview with New York Times published Thursday. “We’re almost three-quarters of the next one,” he said.

Lovers of Stones are already impatiently waiting Hackney Diamondson the 24the studio album of the group, and above all its first opus of original music in 18 years.

At New York Times, guitarist Keith Richards said the band needed to make its mark with Steve Jordan, the new drummer, two years after the death of the old one, Charlie Watts. Two songs from the album were also recorded with the latter, in 2019.

Last week, the group released the first single from Hackney Diamonds, Angry. According to New York Times, the upcoming album is “a loud, cantankerous and unrepentant collection of new songs from a band that refuses to mellower with age.”
