the road between Balazuc and Uzer closed after a landslide

The road between Balazuc and Uzer, in the South-Ardèche, is closed until further notice after a landslide on Tuesday July 12 in the morning. According to the municipality of Balazuc, a company came to clean the rock above the road to knock down the remaining stones, but for now no date is set to reopen the road. A design office must come to assess the scene on Monday to assess the risks and determine if a new landslide threatens motorists. Pending this notice, this municipal road remains closed and will not be cleared. We do not know the causes of this landslide, it could be linked to the heat which expands the rock.

This road is one of the accesses to Balazuc, the town is therefore not cut off from the world, those who want to access it from the departmental 104 must still make a detour.
