On franceinfo this Wednesday, October 9, the deputy president of the Île-de-France region and deputy secretary general of the LR, Geoffroy Didier, discusses the failure of the motion of censure filed by the left against the Barnier government.
Unsurprisingly, the motion of censure tabled by the left against the Barnier government was massively rejected in the National Assembly on Tuesday October 8. “Fortunately this motion of censure did not pass, because we must let Michel Barnier work”reacts on franceinfo this Wednesday, October 9, Geoffroy Didier, deputy president of the Île-de-France region and deputy general secretary of the LR.
The former MEP believes that the left has shown its irresponsibility by wanting to overthrow the new executive: “The National Rally, of which I do not share a very large part of the recommendations […]behaves much better than the extreme left, which behaves very badly on the merits […] but also on the form”he said, referring to La France insoumise – classified on the left by the Council of State – and its leader, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, whom he describes as “molotov cocktail all by itself”.
