The deputy of the National Rally Joris Hébrard leaves the National Assembly, learned franceinfo from the RN group, confirming information from the Point. This comes a few weeks after the inauguration by the deputy of Vaucluse of a mosque in Pontet, near Avignon, then disapproved by his party. The group specifies that his resignation has not “nothing to do with the mosque affair as it might be interpreted”.

He explains that Joris Hébrard, whose mandate has already ended on the site of the Assembly, will return to his job as a physiotherapist, encouraged by “the decision to reintegrate non-vaccinated caregivers”, says the same source. Also mentioned are “family reasons”. The former deputy, whose resignation will not give rise to a new election since he will be replaced by his deputy Catherine Jaouen “in the next few days”will also resume his post as mayor of Pontet.
