The current Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior were at the Elysée meeting held on Friday, July 12 at midday. They probably felt targeted by the remarks of Emmanuel Macron, who castigated, barely back from Washington, the“disastrous image” given by his troops, and the “premature ambitions” expressed by some since the result of the legislative elections.
Both men seem to be trying to force their destiny in front of with a weakened president. Gabriel Attal should be elected head of the Renaissance deputies in the National Assembly, a strategic position for the one who is preparing to leave the head of the government, and who could thus impose himself as leader of the outgoing majority.
