, the candidate at the origin of the appeal presents himself again. This is the mayor of Canohès, Jean-Louis Chambon, candidate without a label alongside Florence Micolau, herself a former candidate for the municipal elections of Perpignan on the list of the outgoing LR mayor, Jean-Marc Pujol.

in this election, Jean-Louis Chambon says he has “every chance” because “Louis Aliot is an ordinary and not extraordinary candidate”. In 2021, the election in this canton had been won by the socialist duo
Mathias Blanc and Francoise Chatard. Another pair will compete with Jean-Louis Chambon and Florence Micolau. They are the centrist candidates of the Modem, Monique Ferré and Roger Ségura.
