With the suspension of Annaëlle Deshayes, the French team was forced to make some adjustments. The management decided, Friday, November 14, to do much more by making a whopping eight changes in the starting XV, to challenge Scotland in the first match of the Six Nations Tournament at home, in Vannes on Sunday (4:15 p.m. live on France 2 and france.tv).
In the front row, only hooker Agahthe Sochat retains her place at kick-off, supported on the left by Yllana Brosseau, who therefore replaces Annaëlle Deshayes, and on the right by Assia Khalfaoui. In the second line, Maëlle Picut is established alongside captain Audrey Forlani. In the third line, the former captain Gaëlle Hermet also finds a starting place, as does Jessy Trémoulière, who replaces the young Carla Arbez, who had her first two starts in the first two games. Two more experienced players in the starting team.
The bottom line has also been changed. Caroline Boujard, who was on the left in Ireland, passes on the right to leave the left wing to Melissande Llorens, while the place at the back is devolved to Emilie Boulard.
On the bench Elisa Riffonneau takes place with Ambre Mwayembe, who could know her first cape, Rose Bernadou, Romane Ménager, who finds her place in the group after being injured in the first two games, Julie Annery, Alexandra Chambon, Carla Arbez and Maelle Filopon.
