The return to port of the Arctic Vendée skippers

After a grueling week of offshore racing and a weather-shortened race off Iceland, theSailors from the Arctic Vendée are beginning to return to Les Sables d’Olonne. The Sablais Manu Cousin on Groupe Sétin sailed up the channel on Tuesday morning.

Other arrivals will follow one another overnight from Wednesday to Thursday as Charlie Dalin on Apivia declared winner, Jeremiah Beyou 2nd on Charal, and another sandlais, Arnaud Boissieres. He too had to abandon his boat La Mie Caline.

The race village and its activities remain open every day from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Vendée Globe pontoon. The pontoon is even open to the public for arrivals.
