It is under the sun and under a strong heat that the Ardéchoise started from Saint-Félicien this Saturday morning between 7 am and 9 am for the some 6 thousand cyclists who had decided to compete in the event in one day. Smiles on the faces of the runners for this return to racing after two years of cancellation due to the health crisis.
As usual, there is something for everyone, for hikers, cyclists, cyclists. Several routes are offered.
To let the runners pass, some roads are closed to traffic this Saturday:
- D273 from Saint-Félicien to Col du Buisson (i.e. 12 km) from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.* in both directions
- D236 from Col du Buisson to Lamastre (i.e. 14 km) from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.*
- D578 from Lamastre to Cheylard (i.e. 20 km) from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.*
- D120 from Saint-Martin-de-Valamas (SDIS barracks) to Saint-Agrève crossroads D120/D21 (i.e. 15 km) from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.*
- D214 from the D214/D9 intersection at a place called Freydaparet to the entrance to Lalouvesc (i.e. 24 km) from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.*
- D532 from Lalouvesc to the D532/D236 intersection (i.e. 3 km) from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.*
- D236 from the D532/D236 intersection to the Col du Buisson D236/D273 (i.e. 9 km) from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.*
