Founded in 2017 by a group of neighbors from the Rosemont neighborhood in Montreal, the Alley Arts Festival presents short professional artistic performances from all disciplines, in an urban and summery atmosphere.

The FAR is thinking big for this edition which marks its post-pandemic relaunch. The organization announces more than 225 professional artists who will present their creations in the alleys of several Montreal boroughs, during 10 days of festivities.

“The FAR is a multidisciplinary, deeply human and inclusive gathering. What our team is aiming for is to decentralize the artistic offer in the alleys in order to offer a local experience”, underlines in a press release Léa Philippe, instigator of the Festival, whose mission is “to bring culture to people “.

The FAR will unveil the complete program of shows and activities on July 26, during a 5 to 7 broadcast live on its Facebook page.
