In the latest survey published by Le FigaroMonday, Jordan Bardella (National Rally) is in the lead with 32% of voting intentions for the European elections. “I can’t bring myself to see the extreme right so high in voting intentions”reacted Valérie Hayer, the head of the Renaissances list in the next European elections, in the “4 Truths” on France 2, Tuesday May 7. “I am determined to make these polls lie”she said.

“It’s not a question of repeating the 2022 match”

“The record of the National Rally, which was doubly victorious in the last European elections, is not up to par”estimated Valérie Hayer, credited with 16% of voting intentions, one month before the election. “There is a world of difference between what they promise the French and reality”, she added. The head of the presidential camp’s list also recalled the importance of the next European election. “It is not a question of repeating the match of 2022 or preparing for that of 2027. The challenges before us are too important”she declared, citing in particular “the fight against climate change”.
