Fans come here as much for the content as for the container. With ver di vin, Sabine and Laurent Brochard have succeeded in marrying oenology and gastronomy in a unique place.

Installed since 2011, in the heart of the historic center of Orléans, Sabine Brochard “Conductor” and Laurent Brochard “in the kitchen”; are busy marrying oenology and gastronomy in a cellar dating from the 13th-15th Century.
Do not be afraid to push the door and discover the kitchen on the ground floor. You will have to go down the stairs to access this charming setting, a unique setting where two passions are expressed:

Sabine BrochardSommelier by trade (Wine merchant in Orléans: l’Ange Vins Cave since 2001)

Laurent BrochardCook by trade and passionate about spirits: whisky, rum, sake… .

On the “wine” side, you will find a wide choice of wines by the glass (a selection of 28 references). Wines from the Loire, France and around the world complete the menu with a very personal selection of bottles. A wine list regularly rewarded by the press and competitions.
A selection that follows seasonality to join the Chef’s cuisine: gourmet cuisine, friendly, neat, eclectic,… fresh, seasonal products…
This “oenology and gastronomy” marriage opens up to moments of sharing according to your projects: a business lunch… an evening for a head to head… with friends (bachelor party…, birthday…) or with family (baptism, wedding, etc.); but also for your company meals (CE, retirement, thanks, workshop, etc.).
We regularly organize workshops and tasting dinners. It is also possible for you to come and simply enjoy a drink (in moderation) because the menu is also open to aperitif formulas in the evening.

All you have to do is discover our open menus for lunch and dinner.
A unique “return from the market” menu is offered for lunch from Wednesday to Friday.
The “carte” is offered for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.
