A child hospitalized for several weeks

She came to the aid of a little boy injured during the attack. “We see that the clothes have holes, we see blood. I’m afraid of the outcome, I’m not sure he’ll make it”, remembers the childminder. As the child suffered, she compressed the wounds with her hands and spoke to him. To keep him conscious, Maryline even bit the inside of his arm. “I felt he had come back, really”, she says. Hospitalized for several weeks, the little boy survived.
