The portion of the A13 motorway located between the Paris ring road and the A86 will soon be able to reopen. Closed since April 18, after “the discovery of a transverse crack in the Saint-Cloud sector” (Hauts-de-Seine), it should reopen completely to traffic by the end of June, the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture announced Tuesday, June 11, in a press release.

The A13 motorway, which connects Paris to Caen, in Normandy, passing south of Rouen, is particularly used by Parisians wishing to go to the Normandy coast.

Work had already made it possible to partially reopen traffic on May 10 to light vehicles, on one lane in the province-Paris direction. “On May 13, repair work on a hydraulic structure, located under the roadway, was undertaken by the Hauts-de-Seine departmental council”, added the prefecture. At the same time, backfilling work was undertaken and should also be completed the week of June 17, before the road repair.

This work will allow “to guarantee a global reopening of the A13 motorway, according to the timetable indicated at the end of June, if all safety conditions are met”announced the prefecture, before “thank motorway users for their understanding and patience in the face of this major constraint.”
