the Rennes association Loisirs Pluriel awarded by the François Hollande foundation

The association was born in Rennes thirty years ago. Its action goal is to bring together young people with disabilities and able-bodied children in leisure centers: “there are children who testify by saying “at Leisure plural the other children have socks of different colors” and disability is not something that stands out“explains Maud Sourdin, the association’s partnership manager. Today, around thirty branches of the association are dispatched all over France, and mainly in Brittany.

From 100 to 300,000 euros over three years

Now the association wants to see bigger and wants to strengthen its network of associations by creating six new associations in three years. It is moreover over this period that the foundation France commits will support the association through specifications which will soon be fixed. In addition to strategic support in its development, the Loisirs pluriel network will benefit from an envelope of 100 to 300,000 euros over this period.
