The Red Cross committee receives the Israeli hostages released at the border post of Rafah (Gaza strip). The situation in Gaza
The International Committee of the Red Cross does not participate in political discussions, which determine the number of hostages. “Once there is an agreement between the parties. Asked about humanitarian aid in Gaza, the spokesperson answers : “The situation before the ceasefire was catastrophic and almost mission impossible for humanitarian organizations, including the ICRC. (…) Today there are almost 80% of the population is displaced. (…) The needs are in terms of food, access to drinking water and medicine.”
