From June 6 to 9, European citizens will go to the polls to elect their deputies to the European Parliament. The 27 member states of the European Union fear the rise of the far right during these elections. Sunday June 9, 2024, 80 seats out of the 720 in the hemicycle are to be filled through a proportional ballot: the more votes a party has, the more representatives are sent to the European Parliament.
Rise of the far right and eurosceptics
