On this occasion, a team from France Télévisions followed Marie, a 30-year-old young woman. Volunteer firefighter in the Loiret, she does not count her time or her energy. Graphic designer by profession, she can be called in at any time of the day. To leave as quickly as possible, everything is done to save time. His equipment is carefully installed in an accessible corner of his cabinet.
Once a week, Marie goes to her barracks to check the equipment with her colleagues. When called into action, she receives 8 euros per hour, and 16 cents when she is on call at home. But that’s not why she got involved, it’s above all to help her neighbor.
