The LFI-NFP parliamentary group indicates in a press release Tuesday October 2 that it wants “seize the Constitutional Council” to question him about the “cumulative situation” of the mandates of ministers Antoine Armand (Economy) and Agnès Pannier-Runacher (Ecological Transition), still deputies of the National Assembly “nine days after their appointment as ministers”.

Antoine Armand is still president of the office of the Economic Affairs Commission and Agnès Pannier-Runacher, secretary of the same office. This “combination of an executive function with a seat and a function in Parliament” East “profoundly contrary to the spirit of our Constitution”according to LFI parliamentarians.

They denounce a maneuver by the Macronist group “who fears losing the presidency” And “organizes to prevent the exercise of parliamentary democracy”with “corridor negotiations with LR and the far right (…) to catch the opposition groups off guard”. The member deputies have still not been summoned for the renewal of the office, indicates the press release.
