The Ravens advance to the American Association final

(Baltimore) Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes and scored two other rushing touchdowns to help the Baltimore Ravens defeat the Houston Texans 34-10 on Saturday to advance to the AFC final.

Jackson had one of his best games of the season for ground gains.

The two teams were tied 10-10 at halftime, but the Ravens quarterback took matters into his own hands for his team.

Jackson scored a 15-yard touchdown run to give the Ravens the lead for good.

This will be the first time since January 1971 that the Ravens will host the American Conference Finals game. The team will play in a semifinal game for the fifth time since arriving in Baltimore. The Ravens will face the winner of Sunday’s game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Ravens are just one win away from their first Super Bowl appearance in 11 years. The team did not play the Bills or Chiefs during the regular season.

During the Ravens’ first offensive sequence in the second half, Jackson only needed six plays to advance his team 55 yards. He then scored the touchdown by running.

His 15-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Likely early in the fourth quarter made it 24-10.

With 6:20 left in the game, Jackson scored his second rushing touchdown of the game, on an eight-yard run.

Steven Sims’ punt return was the Texans’ only touchdown in the game. The Texans offense has never reached the end zone in 120 minutes of play against the Ravens this season. The Texans lost 25-9 to the Ravens in their season opener.

Sims scored a 67-yard touchdown with the Ravens leading 10-3.

Jackson had 100 yards on 11 carries. He also accumulated 152 yards through the air.

CJ Stroud finished the game with 175 passing yards.

The Texans are now 0-5 in the second round and are the only current NFL team yet to reach a Conference Finals game.
