Last straight line for the Tour de France! It is indeed on July 23 that the famous cycling competition will end. As every year, the channels of the France Télévisions group have set up a system to comment on the races and the stages on a daily basis. The former cycling champion, Marion Rousse is therefore present to analyze the prowess of the runners, among whom are her ex-husband Tony Gallopin who has just announced his intention to retire, but also her current darling Julian Alaphilippe. At his side, the famous sports journalist Laurent Luyat who has been working at France Télévisions for more than twenty years and Laurent Jalabert, another key face of the channel.
At the helm of the program dedicated to the Tour de France, Laurent Luyat is therefore making the headlines at the moment as well as during the period when he was commenting on the Roland Garros tournament. The journalist had also pushed a rant about the spectators who do not honor their presence.
“I’m always a little surprised because the stadium isn’t full. Yet people have bought tickets for this match, so that means they have a ticket but they’re not coming…” he lamented.
Laurent Luyat as a couple?
Very discreet about his private life, the journalist confided in his love life in the columns of Paris Match in 2015. “I’m not married and I don’t have children. I’m a fairly free person, after all” he had begun. “I do a bit of storytelling with women.” he continued, admitting to leading “many lives very freely” in order to promote his career.
