The Raptors narrowly beaten by the Pistons

(Toronto) Jerami Grant scored 24 points, including two important three-pointers in the fourth quarter, and the Detroit Pistons beat the Toronto Raptors 127-121 on Saturday night.

Pascal Siakam had 25 points and 12 rebounds in his fourth game since recovering from shoulder surgery.

Isaiah Stewart added 20 points for the Pistons (3-9), who sit last in the Eastern Conference.

Gary Trent Jr. had 23 points while OG Anunoby had 17 for the Raptors (7-7), who have lost four of their last five games. Goran Dragic had 16 points, Dalano Banton added 12 while Scottie Barnes finished the game with 11 points.

Neither team led by 10 points or more in the first three quarters. The Raptors led 95-93 in the fourth quarter.

The Torontonians struggled in the fourth quarter, however, allowing the Pistons to shoot five straight three-pointers, including two by Grant. The Detroit troops took a 117-106 lead and held on.
