The first round of Wimbledon 2023 is still far from over. Neutralized by the rain that fell on London on Tuesday, the third round of the Grand Slam must now catch up on Wednesday, July 5.

In the radius of the first rounds, the headliners are numerous since Daniil Medvedev (n°3), Barbora Krejcikova (n°10), Maria Sakkari (n°8), Petra Kvitova (n°9) and Alexander Zverev (n° °19) will enter the scene. Interrupted by the rain, Stefanos Tsitsipas (n°5) and Dominic Thiem will resume with a round to nothing for the Austrian.

On the French side, Alexandre Muller and Arthur Rinderknech did not have time to finish their confrontation and will resume in the second rotation on court number 5. Varvara Gracheva, Adrian Mannarino, Alizée Cornet, Ugo Humbert and Arthur Fils hope to be able to enter the tournament.

As for the second round, the two winners of Roland-Garros will be in the game. Novak Djokovic (n°2) against Jordan Thompson and Iga Swiatek (n°1) against Sara Sorribes Tormo, will have the honors of the center court. On the tricolor side, Diane Parry will be the only representative of the women’s table against Petra Martic (n°30), while Quentin Halys will face Aleksandar Vukic in the men’s category.
