Scenes of violence and questions. An investigation was opened by the Nice prosecutor’s office on Friday, September 9, the day after the incidents that occurred before and during the football match between the teams of OGC Nice and FC Cologne. A provisional assessment reports 30 injured, including a man hospitalized in a state of absolute emergency.

This investigation was opened for “degradation in meetings” at the official OGC Nice store located on Place Massena, for “violence in meetings” near the Allianz Riviera stadium, and “violence in meetings, introductions and throwing smoke bombs and degradation in meetings” inside the stadium.
The investigations have been entrusted to the departmental security of Nice and are intended to identify and arrest the perpetrators of these offences. “There was no arrest, but investigations will be carried out, in particular with a video analysis work”said Xavier Bonhomme, the public prosecutor of Nice.
