The Annecy prosecutor’s office opened an investigation on Tuesday January 18 after a schoolgirl explained that she had been the victim of an attempted kidnapping while on her way to Chéran college in Rumilly, reports France Bleu Pays de Savoie. This investigation was entrusted to the Rumilly gendarmerie brigade. “Everything is being done to find this individual”, says the prosecution.

The young girl told her mother that she had been approached by a man who was traveling in a car as she got off the bus: “He opens the door and says to her: you’re going to get in the car, little bitch”, explained Amira, the mother of the schoolgirl. “Hearing this, my daughter ran off to take refuge in college, the man turned around in a black Volkswagen with the steering wheel on the right; he had a scarf, a hood”, she clarified.

The principal of the Chéran college contacted the parents to warn their children to avoid “approach a stopped car”.
